RURAL RESILIENCE: Addressing Trauma and Mental Health in Older Adults

This course is designed to provide healthcare and behavioral health professionals with the knowledge and tools to better support older adults living in rural communities. Exploring the unique m ental health challenges faced by older adults in rural settings, focusing on the effects of trauma and the barriers to accessing care. While emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, participants will gain the skills to create supportive, adaptive care plans that enhance the overall quality of life for older adults facing trauma and mental health challenges in underserved rural communities
