MASH Camp

Hudson Mohawk AHEC’s MASH Camp is a comprehensive hands-on, interactive health career exposure program for students in grades 8-12.  During this camp, students will learn from local health professionals how they came to pursue their profession, what training is involved, and what their job is all about.  Through interactive presentations, students gain a better understanding of opportunities for careers in the healthcare field.

Check out the MASH Camp Summer 2025 page for more details on our 2025 camps. Information will be updated once applications for our Summer 2025 MASH Camps are open.

Job Shadows and Internships

We believe students who have early exposure to healthcare careers are more likely to enter the field.  As such, we work to provide students in grades 8-12 residing in Albany, Essex, Fulton, Montgomery, Hamilton, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington counties opportunities to observe and learn from professionals in health-related fields.

Please note that there will be pages in the application to enter two contacts as references and upload one letter of reference and your resume. It is suggested that all of the information is gathered prior to starting the application for an easy submission.
